Shower most of the time.

But a long, slow bath after winter football.

Re: Shower or bath
Bath if i have the time.

I think I was put off showers for life by the 1970s version in the house I grew up in. A quarter of a mm made the difference between arctic-winter cold and burning your skin off. Someone turning a tap on somewhere else in the house would also have the same effect - which was very entertaining when you weren't the one in the shower.

Baths are pretty gay. But bobby Moore at al used to have baths after games so they can’t be that gay

Self-loathing is not the first thing I associate with ioc, so I'm a bit surprised at his post.

I like a brisk walk in the country and I sweat a lot in this warm moist county.

I don't appreciate sitting in that, call it what you like.

...especially on a miserable Sunday - scaldingly hot with the Archers omnibus (yes, I am old).

Re: Shower or bath
There is actually something attractive about a tin bath in front of an open fire, rather than one in the oversterile modern bathroom.

Although it's probably 56 years since I experienced that, and I can't actually remember it. I do know I spent my first six years in a bungalow without a bathroom, though.
